Does Your Home Look Better This Year Than it Did Last Year?
Hopefully, it does!  So many of our Johanna Woods residents keep their homes in such lovely fashion that not much work is needed year to year.  Thanks to each of you for making and keeping your homes so beautiful.  Every home—site-built or manufactured—needs routine care and maintenance in order to continue to look nice and be an asset to the community where it is located.  Our inspection program has made a very positive difference in the overall condition and appearance of our community.  And it’s all thanks to you, our hardworking, responsible homeowners.  All of the initial inspections have been made and the re-inspections are well underway.  The inspection program needs to be given serious and thorough attention by every homeowner in Johanna Woods.  The repairs listed are not suggestions, they are requirements and must be made in order for the homes to continue to meet our minimum standards.  If you aren’t convinced the inspections are that important,  just visit any nearby mobile home park with your inspection sheet.  It won’t take long to see the huge difference that exists, both in the appearance of the homes and the community as a whole. Thanks to each of you who do such a great job!

Calling All Dog Walkers…
We need your help.  Not everyone in Johanna Woods has a dog, in fact, the majority of residents do not.  Now, when one of us non-dog owners walks out into our yard and discovers that a “gift” has been left for us, by a passing dog, this does not bring us great joy.  Especially when we step in the “gift”, run over the “gift” with the lawn mower, or find the “gift” with the weed eater!  If you walk your dog, you need to be prepared to deal with the normal activity that follows.  You need to be prepared to pick up after your dog—and, as a matter of courtesy, you SHOULD pick up after your dog.  We all love the right kind of gift, but this one isn’t it!  Please help with this.  Your neighbors will appreciate it—and it ‘s the right and responsible thing to do!

Broken Arrow Schools Start August 21st!
The summer has flown by and it is time for school to start again.  We will soon see school buses making their way through the community several times each day, with the kids gathered waiting for them or walking to and from the bus stops.  Please be aware of your speed and be watchful for this increase in activity in the mornings and afternoons.  We want our roads and our entire community to be safe!

Hot Weather Tip
You can save some money on your electric bill during these sweltering summer months by using the kitchen and bathroom exhaust fans.  Simply turning these fans on when you cook or shower will remove the extra heat and moisture from your home.  This will keep your air conditioner from having to work so hard to compensate for the extra heat and humidity, saving some of your $.
