Q. What is involved with being a community Manager?
A. "You have to wear a lot of hats. On any given day you might have to be
a bookkeeper, sheriff, sales person, gardener, writer, cook, pool attendant or
nurse. Whatever is needed!"

Bob Brady
Grounds Maintenance Supervisor
Maintaining the physical appearance of a quality community like Johanna Woods is a big job. On any given day, residents will see Bob out and about working to keep the 80 acres that comprise Johanna Woods in good order. He and his crew maintain community areas of lawns, trees, shrubs and all the landscaped areas, in addition to maintaining the pool, office, storm shelters and resident Clubroom. Bob is also responsible for site preparation and placement of all homes entering the community, which requires a thorough knowledge of city codes and regulations.
Bob has been employed in construction, maintenance, business and residential re-modeling for many years. He has also worked as a self-employed contractor and handyman for almost 27 years. There isn’t much in the way of maintenance or repair that Bob hasn’t done or can’t do. These skills make him well qualified for his position as maintenance supervisor in Johanna Woods and also make him a valuable asset to the community staff.
Bob and his wife live in Porter, are active in their church and have several grandchildren that keep them busy in their spare time.
